About

Dara Epstein has spent a quarter of a century in the arts. Her love of music began at a very early age. Piano, acting, voice, and dance lessons turned into school plays, community theatre, college theatre, and now, Ms. Epstein performs at venues all over the globe.

Regardless of her location, whether it be an aria at Thanksgiving dinner, a Valentine's Day concert outside Trevi Fountain prepared with a local street violinist, or singing Mimi to a sold out 1000-seat theatre, people take notice of her extraordinary voice and complex interpretation.

Dara Epstein is a Master of Music Candidate at The Conservatory of Music of Brooklyn College where she is in the voice studio of Mignon Dunn. Upon her Bachelor of Music degree at New York University, Ms. Epstein spent a year in Naples, Italy studying 19th Century Bel Canto technique under the tutelage of Benito Nisticò. She has trained at The International Institute of Vocal Arts in Chiari, Italy, Sherrill Milnes' V.O.I.C. Experience in Orlando, Florida, the International Vocal Arts Institute of Tel Aviv, The Institut Canadien d'art Vocal of Montreal, and privately during a Tanglewood summer with Ms. Phyllis Curtin.
